The triangular leather applique on the side panels adds just the right amount of edge without being over the top, and the contrast stitching pops nicely against the black cowhide. Broke them in after a couple wears, now they're my go-to for casual days.

The padded collar makes these way more comfortable for all-day wear than I expected from a chunky sneaker. The contrast stitching against the black leather really makes the design pop in person.

The suede triangle patches on the sides give these a nice texture against the smooth leather. Laces are flat cotton and stay tied, which sounds minor but my last pair never did. The shark-tooth outsole grips well on wet pavement too.
