Rick Owens Low Sneaks - Grease / Milk

I was a bit worried the rubberized toe cap would feel stiff, but it actually gives the shoe a cool, sculptural look that's surprisingly comfortable for all-day wear. The flat cotton laces tie easily and stay put, which is a nice practical touch.

The leather is surprisingly soft right out of the box, and the flat cotton laces feel really premium compared to standard sneakers. I've been wearing them for a week and the rubberized toe cap keeps the shape perfect.

The rubberized toe cap gives these a cool sculptural feel without being bulky, and the cow leather is already starting to break in nicely after just a few wears. Perfectly chunky without feeling clunky.
