The rubber sole has a nice squish to it that makes walking around feel surprisingly cushioned, and the criss-cross laces stay put without digging in. These slip-ons break in fast and look just as sharp on the street as they do lounging.

I was worried the contrasting laces might look too busy, but they actually add a cool architectural feel. The leather upper is noticeably softer and more comfortable than I expected from a slide.

The rubber platform sole gives just enough lift without feeling clunky, and the slip-on style makes them easy to kick off after a long day. I was surprised how comfortable the leather upper is right out of the box, no break-in needed.
