The mesh lining is a nice touch for warmer days, keeps my son from getting sweaty when he's running around the playground. The detachable hood zips off easily too, which is handy since he usually hates hoods. Ripstop fabric has held up through a few washes already without pilling.

The mesh lining keeps my toddler from getting sweaty when he runs around in this, which was my main worry with a zip-up. The detachable hood is genius too since he hates anything touching his head half the time.

The detachable hood is a lifesaver since my toddler runs hot and I can just unzip it mid-park trip. Ripstop fabric has held up through two washes already with zero pilling, which honestly surprised me at this price.
