The padded collar makes a real difference on longer runs, no rubbing at all. These feel incredibly stable on uneven trails despite the lightweight build. The Vibram sole gives great grip on loose gravel.

These are surprisingly light on foot for a trail shoe—the nylon upper breathes well even on warm days. The Vibram sole has great grip on loose gravel, and the padded collar keeps debris out without feeling bulky.

The flat cotton laces actually stay tied, which I didn't expect from a trail shoe. The padded collar and nylon upper feel light but secure on long runs. Genuinely impressed with how the Vibram sole grips without feeling clunky.
