The extended tongue and co-branded patch give these a real designer feel, but the woven laces are the detail that won me over. They run a bit snug, so size up if you’re between sizes.

The extended tongue sits just right when I pull them on, and the woven laces hold tight all day without loosening. That chunky double-height sole gives a weirdly stable walk, like I’m gliding more than stepping. These are my new go-to for when I want the look to do the talking.

The rubber outsole on these is surprisingly substantial — feels way more planted than a standard Chuck. The canvas broke in nicely after a few wears, too.
