Wore these straight out of the box for a full day of walking and zero break-in pain, which never happens for me. The mesh upper keeps things breathable while that flow-molded cage actually holds my foot steady. Padded collar sits just right too.

The suede overlays on the toe and heel feel way nicer than the mesh panels I usually get on sneakers in this range. Padded collar actually hugs my ankle without rubbing after a full day of walking around the city. Fit runs a touch narrow so I'd size up half if you've got wider feet.

The flow-molded cage on these gives the upper a really structured feel without stiffening it up, and the suede overlays are a nice contrast against the mesh. Been wearing them daily for two weeks and the padded collar still hasn't lost shape.
