Phaidon Latijns-Amerikaanse Kunstenaars: Van 1785 tot Nu

The large format really does justice to the full-page reproductions, and I love that it spans from 1785 to present day—gives such a broad view of Latin American art history. Great to see so many artists I hadn't known about before.

I was a bit worried the 352 pages wouldn't do justice to such a broad topic, but the range of artists included is incredible. The hardcover binding feels sturdy enough to handle repeated flipping through these large plates.

The huge 12.20-inch format makes the artwork feel like you’re walking through a gallery, and the 352 pages are packed with enough depth to keep me flipping for hours. I’ve already dog-eared a dozen pages for artists I’d never heard of before.
