The hexagonal blocks nest together perfectly for building towers, and the cantilever design adds a fun engineering challenge for my 8-year-old. The New Zealand pine feels smooth and nicely weighted, making these easy to stack without tipping.

The water-based paint on these blocks has held up beautifully through my kids’ daily building sessions, and the pine wood feels sturdy in hand. Watching them cantilever the hexagonal pieces into crazy tower shapes is oddly mesmerizing—even my six-year-old figured out the nesting trick on her own.

The hexagonal blocks nest so smoothly that my 7-year-old built a skyline taller than our coffee table without a single wobble. The water-based paint has zero smell, which I appreciate since the pieces end up scattered everywhere.
