HOKA Clifton 9 - Nimbus Cloud / White

I was a bit worried about the cushioning being too soft, but the compression molded EVA foam gives a perfect balance of bounce and stability for my daily runs. The flat woven laces stay tied without digging in.

The engineered mesh upper breathes so well on my morning runs, and the compression molded EVA foam midsole makes every step feel springy without any break-in period. The gusseted tongue stays put too, which is a nice change from shoes that shift around.

I was worried these would be too narrow, but the engineered mesh upper gives my feet plenty of room to breathe on long walks. The compression molded EVA foam makes every step feel like I’m walking on clouds.
