The washed cotton poplin feels broken-in right out of the bag, no stiffness at all. I wore it open over a tee with the concealed placket showing just the top button, and the beveled side splits kept it from bunching when I sat down.

The level shoulder seams give it that structured drape without feeling stiff, and the concealed button front keeps the lines really clean. Wore it to a gallery opening and got asked where it was from twice. The chest flap pockets are actually usable, not just decorative.
