The padded collar hugs my ankle just right straight out of the box, no break-in soreness at all. The reflective heel panel is a nice touch for early morning runs on the road. Mesh upper keeps my feet from overheating even on longer walks with these on.

The leather overlays on the sides give these way more structure than my usual trail shoes, and the padded collar hugs my ankle without any rubbing even on long downhill stretches. The oat milk colorway is even softer in person than the photos showed.
