Finally, a trail shoe that doesn't feel like a boat—the nylon upper breathes well and the metal eyelets give it a rugged, durable feel right out of the box. The grip on loose dirt has been solid so far, and the padded collar kept my ankle comfortable on a long downhill.

The flat cotton laces are a nice touch—they stay tied through my whole trail run without needing a double knot. The Vibram outsole gripped loose gravel and wet rock exactly where I needed it, and the nylon upper kept things breathable on the climb back. These are my new go-to for gnarly terrain.

The padded collar really locks my heel in place without any irritation, and those metal eyelets feel sturdy. I’ve already taken them on a few rocky trails, and the Vibram midsole grips confidently on loose dirt. These are easily the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn for long hikes.
